Situated in the northern New Territories of Hong Kong, ICHK is a school which is proud to embrace innovation in learning. We have established a unique and stimulating curriculum for students and been recognised by Cambridge Strategies as one of the top 100 schools in the world for innovation.
Classes are kept deliberately small as individual attention and guidance is key to our learning philosophy. Learning is centred on established and emerging effective practices, using insights and creative solutions from around the world. Our Year 7 to 9 curriculum is largely of our own design and includes Human Technologies, Big History, Digital Creativity and Visual Thinking (DCVT), Free Learning, and Deep Learning. In Years 10-11 students follow the IGCSE, then the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12-13.
ICHK has created, and continues to evolve, a school experience that best prepares young people for a rapidly changing world, in which the diverse and nuanced strengths of personal development rank as priorities alongside formal qualifications. We are proud to be pushing the boundaries and expectations with regards to what secondary education could and should offer young people, as we support our students to produce the very best versions of who they are and who they want to be.
